I agree, and Dan Akaka IS EFFECTIVE as a Senator for Hawaii. Ed Case is an imposter, a republican posing as a democrat. He stands for out sourcing jobs that the people of Hawaii have worked for generations. What do you want, a job at Walmart, or a meaningful career? How you vote tomorrow will determine that. It's umbeleivable that someone like Ed Case should receive any consideration at all. His BIG IDEA is that some how "pooling" insurance for
business in Hawaii will translate to improved health outcomes for Hawaiian citizens. He obviously has not done his homework. He wants to compete with insurance companies while the answer can only be found at the diagnostic and treatment level compeating for BETTER TREATMENTS. Dan Akaka would understand that. More importantly, Senator Akaka represents something that Mr. Case evidently missed, the fact that our Kapuna have a unique perspective on issues that us young "whipper snappers" have to learn the "hard way." Ask Mr Case, "Why our sons and daughters need to die in Iraq?" Ask Mr. Case, "Why we have a record national debt?" Did he recognize the danger of these issues? No he did not, however Senator Akaka did and that's who gets my vote!
