Progressive Democrats of Hawai‘i is an affiliate of the Progressive Democrats of America.
Our mission is to build unity among progressive individuals and advance progressive values in the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i. We work to elect progressive Democrats to office, encourage other progressives to join the Party and become effective within it, and attempt to get more progressive policies and positions adopted in the Party. We support various community groups in their efforts.

Strategy
Working within the general Democratic Party framework while helping
provide a voice for like-minded groups and individuals outside of the
Party.
Inside:
In order to be effective within the party, we need a portion of our members to also be members of the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i and to hold positions within the Party. The "4 Easy Steps" document explains how to gain a position within the Party, during convention years. When a large number of progressives to show up the biennial precinct meetings and get elected to delegate positions for the County and/or State Democratic conventions, they can help get progressive resolutions adopted by the Party.Outside:
